Surprisingly, even after a year of never really polishing, there's no marks or anything that suggests that a sticker was there before, as far as I can tell.

Yeah. Your truck looks awesome as well! Those wheels with the level can really pull off the stock tires like no other without looking awkward. I love those Platinums!
Only thing I wish my truck had from the factory was tuxedo black paint...this ebony black, though still sexy, is "just" black. I love metallic flakes.

Thank you, sir. i love the look of the fx4(black heads and tails, grille), and i think tuxedo black should be an option on all f150's. but i guess thats just one more reason to get the platinums. i would have gotten an fx4 if i could've got the options on it, but like i said, i guess its a selling point for the platinums. they're all great trucks though!

Well, today was an exciting day indeed! Dad came home with my Solo HF cats, so I loaded them up in mine and I'm going to book it in at the dealer to have them installed sometime this week. I'd do it myself, but I don't feel like having my fatass under my truck for 6 hours. If I had a 2 post lift I'd do it myself. Oh well, may as well pay for an hour of labour.

Truck is booked in on Friday at the dealer for 1:00 for the Solo Cat install! Best part..it's free! With my $500 voucher I use $140 of it to pay for the install. Not a bad gig! I'll use that voucher again for my Solo dual catback when the time comes..

You could get Tuxedo Black on FX4's from early 2011 and 2012/2013..but at the time I ordered, the japan crisis was still recovering and the tuxedo black paint was unavailable. Instead, they offered the Ebony Black from the Mustang. turned out Japan recovered faster than expected, so Tuxedo black was back for the 2012's a mere month away.
