Hardcore's FX4 Progress/Build thread
I figured since I saw a few of these around I'd start my own, instead of individual threads about each little thing I did. I'll start from day one. It's been minimal and slow mods up to now, but more are coming. This will be an active thread, as there are mods approaching soon.
September 2011 - 2011 F-150 FX4 Ecoboost 145" wheelbase, loaded. Custom ordered, arrived with 2.8km on the odo!
November 2011 - Put it in the ditch near my house, underestimated the crappiness of the Pirelli's. Winter tires bought. Blizzak 275/70R17. Hated the way they looked from day one. That's not to say they didn't perform...The thing was unstoppable through snow and like ice-picks on the slippery stuff. But looks are important when they're on your truck for 4 months out of the year.
January 2012 - Bakflip HD installed. Not really any pics of it.
April 2012 - Pirellis re-installed and a decision was made to do something different for the next winter. Also Plasti-dipped my mirror reflectors.
Also got some Weathertech mats. The factory ford ones suck!
August 2012 - After some issues with the truck, it finally smoothed out, then my truck got hailed on. Roof, hood, and entire passenger side was covered in tiny dents. $6k claim and 8 days later, paintless dent repair guys got EVERY dent out and even under my ridiculously picky eye, I couldn't find a trace that hail damage ever existed.

September 2012 - Did some offroading..didn't end well.
October 2012 - iPad stealthmount. Sh*t ton of work.
November 2012 - Plasti-dip smoke on emblems. Matches rims and running boards perfectly.
Peeled off FX4 stickers. Like the look much better now, cleaner and classier.
December 2012 - Sold my Blizzaks and bought some Michelin LTX MS2's for my 20's! One of the best decisions I've made thus far.
When I get home, aFe Magnum Force Stage 2 intake and Solo downpipe. Pretty stoked.

Cool truck bro.
Love the FX4. If only my car accident happened 6 months later, I would have had more money and could have purchased one. Now I have a POS XLT with too much chrome.
