Thinking of selling my truck

Hello everyone, I'm thinking of selling my truck. It's a 2013 xlt ecoboost 4x4 super crew. What would a good asking price be to sell it privately in the San Antonio/Austin Texas area? Personally I love my truck, I just regret not getting an fx4. I know it's not cost effective and I may take a hit on depreciation, but maybe not. I owe $30,045 so I'm thinking I can recuperate most of what I've paid for it. I looked up blue book value and it listed it at $34,235 in excellent condition, which it is.

Ahhhh, alright, thanks for the heads up. I've never sold a truck privately. Well poor stated $32,480 up to the excellent value listed above. Options; chrome and trailer tow package, convenience package, no reverse cam/sensors, jump seat in the front, and spray in bed liner.

Well remember Blue Book doesn't buy cars, people do so it's only worth what someone will give you.
Also color makes a difference too, I mean no offense to anyone with these colors (as they are my favorites too) but colors like Ruby, Kodiak, Adobe and Green Gem are hard sells.
Colors like white, silver and grey are easiest to sell as they are most common/ trendy etc.
Also having 3.55 or 3.73 gears will also appeal to more people as well.
Personally I would take it to CarMax and see what they would give you. I sold my 2013 Subaru WRX a year ago to them, bought it new and decided 6 mos later it wasn't for me. They gave me about $200 less than what I paid new for it, I was really happy with that.

Boost :)
I certainly don't mean to upset you, but here in Austin, you can buy a brand new FX4 for the $34k or so that you are talking about selling your XLT for. From a buyers point of view they could buy a newer and better equipped truck for what you are asking for a used truck with fewer options.

The sticker doesn't mean much when everyone buys under sticker. What can you buy a new truck like yours for? With that number, take off for being a year old with 11k miles. Your final number has to be more attractive than new.
