It was a hard getting rid of the '04 but Ford made it pretty easy once I left the lot with the new one. I like everything about this truck and havn't looked back. To me the seats are more comfortable (a/c in them is a plus), brakes are 10 times better, much better gas milage, 6 speed transmission is smooth, to me the stock ehxaust sounds much better than the '04, the sync and nav is a real plus, while I'm driving just to be able to say the address that I want to go to and tell the truck to give me turn by turn is awesome. I drive in Miami alot and the travel link shows me problems on the interstates and turnpikes and also shows if the traffic is slowed down or moving at the normal rate, it's surprising how accurate it is.
I wish I could have had an option on the tires, I'm not crazy about the SRA's, I pull my boat out of the water in a really bad place (but it's conveniant) and the wrangler AT/S's on the '04 seemed to be a much better off road tire, but the 4 wheel drive hasn't let me down yet.
All in all this is a great truck, I look forward to driving it everyday. I'm going to install a tuff country leveling kit in the next few weeks and then a bed cover, I'm leaning towards the "truck covers usa" roll back cover.
