Grillcraft billet grille review
just wanted to let you all out there looking to upgrade to a billet grille to beware of ebay cheap stuff. I had one on my truck for awhile and decided to switch out for a grillcraft mesh style.
1st - Ebay grilles do not fit right, tons of cutting and shaping to make it work.
2nd - mounting hardware on ebay grille is horrible and very flimsy
3rd - the paint on the ebay grille started fading out after about 4 months.
GRILLCRAFT MODEL:
1st - the grill insets into the grill vs sitting flush like the other one.
2nd - mounting hardware is 5x better than cheaper brands.
3rd - the grill fits like a glove (how it should be)
4th - the paint is powder coat therefore its much more durable and wont scratch up the paint like the cheap one did.
---below is some before and after pics of both grills-----

i also forgot to add, the bar style grill "hums" driving down the road which is very annoying. From 20-45mph I would get a humming noise which sounded just like I was driving down the road with mud tires on the truck.

I think I got this from Amazon. It is easy to install the one main problem you will have with installing is the clips when you take the grill apart. they are notorious for breaking when you try to take the grill from the truck. it takes a little more time to do it but if you can it's better just to install the grille without removing it from the truck.

Grillcraft has been around for quite some time and known for making a quality product!
Glad to hear that is still true! I've been quite interested in one for my '14.
Can you still easily remove the Grillcraft badge?
