Made this for mine this weekend. Material is an egg crate ceiling diffuser from Home Depot. Painted with Fusion for plastic paint and connected with zip ties. Took me about an hour.

I haven't seen any members with this grill yet:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2013-FX4-XLT-Large-Rectangular-Ford-F-150-Powder-Coated-Black-Bumper-Grille-/271230414331?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f2697adfb&vxp=mtr
It seems to me like it would still allow plenty of airflow and would look pretty sweet.

I think it'd compliment my front end well.

Here's a different sort of grill for the gap. A little pricey, but has spin-off benefits!

Can you maybe post a pic where we can see in more details the grill please?

I'd be interested in one that matches the King Ranch motif.

Oh, well I'm not quite ready to spend THAT much on a grill.

Thanks!

That's one of the most open grille designs I've seen yet - - now why can't Ford come up w/ something like that? It's better than the hole ...
