Default what is the best coolant for a 3v 5.4

I bought my 09 f150 Screw lariat 5.4 4x4 at 52k miles and now have 83k on it, the coolant is looking pretty bad. so I'm going to do a flush but having owned a 6.uh-oh I know how inadequate the Motorcraft premium gold really is. I work at a peterbilt dealership so I have easy access to Cat elc and fleetguard es complete oat (organic acid technology) but I'm wondering if either of them are good for the 3v 5.4. What is everyone else using?

Hmm, that's a hybrid organic acid coolant, just like the cat elc maybe I'll do that

Motor craft gold

What combat vet posted would be my second choice though.

Ok thanks guys, I was just wondering because I always like to do as much research as I can to run the best fluids in my vehicles. I'm going to start swapping to AMSOIL in everything next.

Well, I did the flush and change last night, what a pain in the *** these engines tap water EVERYWERE. But 2 hours running with the flush, then a garden hose flush, then a distilled water flush, and it was finally draining out clean And ready to refill. I went with the Cat elc it seems to be a very high quality coolant, all the 6.0 powerstroke guys use to to replace the gold and it seems close to the same main properties.

Rad has a drain, block has a plug on the driver side and I pulled the thermostat, pulled the lower rad hose and thermostat hose, one flush with detergent one with house water and one of distilled water. That's at least what I did

Did you run the garden hose through the radiator cap? Did you do this with it running? Thanks
