Default Getting lift and need opinions!

Hey guys I have a '13 stx that has the supercab, 4x4, 5.0, all that stuff. I have slowly been building it up to what I have now and am about to have a 6" lift installed. I have decided to go with the 6" zone, 18x9 xd addicts with federal couragia 35" m/t's. The only concern I have is with the offset? I have ordered the lift but have not ordered the wheels because I have searched around and can't figure out the offset. All opinions/help is appreciated and I will have pics soon. Thanks!

The wheel package I can get is either a -12 or +18. Can you explain the differences?

-12 will stick out of your fenders about 2 1/2 inches +18 will be more flush and not such a wide stance possibly eliminating the need for flares to keep your truck clean, or follow the strict laws like we have in Mn, no tires outside of the body.

Its all about what look your going for I know the kit says 5-5.5 backspacing which is 0 to -12 offset on a 9" wide rim

I'll probably go with -12. Really like the wide look with them sticking out

Here are pics of a 6 inch lift with....
  • Offset: 01mm
  • Backspace: 5"

Hope that helps. Let me know if you want more pics. I also have pics after it went to an 8 inch lift.

The - 12 tire tread would sit perfectly even with bushwhacker pocket style flares my 0 sits flush with sidewall of the tires to the flares now, that's on bfg ko2 tires which are ats mts may be a little different

Appreciate it. Anyone ever towed with the zone kit? I tow a fair amount mainly atvs and a cat every once in a while and was wondering also how the ride is. Ya I'm sure it'll be a little loud with the m/t's but hopefully my muffler delete will make it not as noticeable😂. And the 5.0 with the 6 speed im hoping will have no issues turning the 35's

It'll loose a little power but not much. I like the ride better then stock myself. Spend the little extra and get the nitro shocks in the kit
