My wife went to the gas station yesterday, and the mechanism in the gas cap door gave out. Won't stay closed, except for a "temporary piece of painters tape".


Thank goodness for the extended warranty. They will pay for it.


Was there ever a TSB on this? I haven't found one.

There's a very easy fix on how to do this repair. Took me 10 mins my first try at it not hard at all. Just search it will come up. I think going through the warranty would be a waste but that's me. They'll have your truck all day for a easy fix.
