Haha, your name made me wonder! I've been experiencing a few coincidences on this forum..just found out I wrote the dealer ad for another member's new truck.. Another member literally lives 5 minutes down the road (i live in Heritage Pointe). Who would've thought that there would be so many members close by on a forum as large as this.

Have you thought about maybe some Platinum 20's or even 08 Harley 22's? Both of those wheels look really nice on any truck with chrome.

I was thinking of doing that too but seems it would be costly, as the rims are pricey even if you find them used....

I think Chrome FX4 wheels would look Hot on here.......Im Looking for a 2nd set of wheels for my summer tires either 325/20's or 35" 12.50 17" or 18" BFG KM2

They want to leave some room for DIY and modding!

In all seriousness they want to keep the cost down and distinguish an XLT from a lariat.

color match would look good, I like it when they do the white trucks....
I actually like the chrome handles on my truck and the rest being black, but I don't like the all black bezel and handle unless the truck is black....like on our other truck FX4

There is a few of us "okotokian's" on the board. . I really like the fx 20's as well. Too bad I haven't seen any for cheap so far. See you around town. ('11 Black/gold Lariat)

I was at the dealership today getting a few items taken care of (replacing squeaking rear window and intercooler) and I took a look at the fx4 20s on a truck parked beside mine. I think that it's definitely a bit too dark of a grey to work with my truck. There is a set of chrome fx 20s that I found at LA Wheel but I'm not sure I want to drop over 2 grand for just the wheels. I'd be looking at around $3500+ once I add tires and TPMS sensors.

I did notice today that the 2013 20" chrome lariat wheels are slightly different than previous years. They have somehow reduced the bulkiness of the wheels and added more style. I may look into going that route.

I agree with the opinions that the painted wheels will not flow with the chromed truck. Buck pretty much nailed it, gotta do one of those three things. IMO more than two colours is too busy.

I would really like to see someone get the 11+ FX wheels chromed. I think that would look great on a chrome bumpered truck.
