I battled with that for a while...biggest factor being that I have an 03 mach1 (well...two at the moment) that Im doing a pretty big build on (looking for mid 500s pump gas and 600 plus on race gas), having two go fast vehicles just wore on me...the time, energy and money. The mustang is my forever car, the lightning was bought to be a toy in the meantime. I may buy another on down the road (either fully built or a roller). I like having a rock steady reliable DD that gets reasonable gas mileage, 4 people fit in and has a warranty.

i completely understand. having owned 8 Mustangs myself i know what you mean about spending money...from bone stock fox bodies to street/strip foxes i have spent my share too. now my wife drives a 2012 V6 Mustang that seems like we have spent a small fortune on. that's why i love my truck too. it gets decent mileage for a truck, it will seat 6 people if need be and i can count on it to do just about anything i need. i myself might look for a nice low mileage Lightning down the road...way down the road.

Didn't you have some pics of your truck with the 6" lift and factory 20" rims? Can you please post them. I have a FX2 I want to lift, but put 35" on the factory rims. Thanks
