Default FX2 with FX4 height

I know you can just throw a level on it. I am a little skeptical about just going a level after putting the 1" fx4 blocks in the rear. Thats going to make for nearly a 3" level probably. Which from what I have read is a little much and puts a bunch of stress on the ball joint.

What parts would you all suggest to raise the front of an FX2 to a leveled FX4 do I just get the Strut/Spring or to I need the Upper control Arm or do I need to get the spindle. Its all little confusing.

TIA

Rick

So we put the FX4 suspension on our 3.7L 2wd truck just to see how it worked. We also added a 1.5 inch spacer on top of that. Then we did the FX4 rear block in the rear. Here are some pics of that truck. We never did real tough 4 wheeling with it but we took it on some trails and it did okay.

So is the FX4 struts the only thing taller? I've heard the that Lower Control arms were different than the 2WD? Honestly, im about to find me some stock 4x4 struts and springs. I'd love to get rid of the some of the rake.

In the front we only swapped the front struts. They mounted right up to the lower controls arms. Sorry I can not confirm if the lowers are different on the 2wd and the 4x4, but they did bolt up with no issues.

Just wondering, but can you run a 2 or 2.5" level kit along with the FX4 struts? Got any side shots to see how much rake it has?
