Default Fuel filter???

Not sure if the manual says anything about this, but has anyone changed their fuel filter? Where is it and how often should you change it? Any special tools? Thanks in advance!

Its in the Manual....

FUEL FILTER
Your vehicle is equipped with a lifetime fuel filter that is integrated with
the fuel tank. Regular maintenance or replacement is not needed.

It's part of the fuel pump module and will last the life of said module. If/when you need to replace the fuel pump you'll get a new filter too. Dodge has been doing this for years with the Ram's.

Hmmm

I hope I never get some bad gas. It was always nice to be able to change out my fuel filter as needed.

Yeah, I agree....one of the things I liked about my Suburban was being able to change the filter.
As I've stated in the past, I tend to keep vehicles a LONG time. It is one thing to have a 5 year old filter, it is quite another to have a 15 year old filter.
And while it isn't THAT big of a deal to drop a fuel tank to change the pump/filter...it is a helluva lot harder than simply changing a filter!
