Frustrations with BAK and the Roll-X

It's really bad to hear the problems some are having. I ordered the FiberMax for my 2012 KR Screw from 4wheelonline.com and have had no problems at all. I love this cover. Sorry you are having an issue.

2013 fx4 with CS-F1 on mine. Two washes, rain and snow so far and no water in the bed. Washes were at one of those self wash place with power wash attachments too. Sorry you're having issues with yours. Couldn't be happier with mine.

I have a 2012 screw fx4 and got the extang encore. I put stuff in the bed everyday that I need to haul dry and haven't had any problems. I've had it since May

Sorry to hear about this... I love my G2. I got it from 4wheelonline as well. No tax and no shipping was a great deal for me. I have had no issues whatsoever. BAK's products seemed to be high quality. It's too bad they haven't been as responsive as a company should be when there is an unhappy customer.

I have a Bak F1 still in the box that I will be installing in about a week on my 2013 Lariat short bed. I will report back after a few weeks after installation. Could the leak problems others are reporting be installation issues? Is there a trick one should know about installation to increase the probability of being leak free?

I bought my Roll-X back in June prior to embarking on a 3500 mile road trip. I did the installation myself and during the process I realized that it would not be 100% waterproof and I did not expect it to be when I purchased it. I have been pleasantly surprised though at how little water has leaked into the bed of my truck either from rain or washing. I have been very pleased with the overall quality and functionality of the Roll-X cover.
If you need the bed to be 100% waterproof BAC is probably not the product for you. You should look into a hard cover or shell.

Bak has never claimed to be 100% waterproof but I keep a bunch of stuff back there and it stays dry. It gets some drops in at the man step and thats it on mine.
As far as install, I would recommend using a heat gun or hair dryer to get the rubber seals to seat and set flat.
Overall, I have been very happy with my G2 for two years now.

I don't need it to be 100% dry, I read the reviews and saw that the tailgate was letting in mere drops in heavy rains and that was more than adequate for me. The cover was just not stopping water at all at the tailgate and my box would have enough water to flow over the grooves in the drop in liner.
It's just awful.

I'd be interested to find if anyone else has had any issues. I just got my Roll-X and although I really like the design the workmanship seems very shoddy in certain areas.
A bit disappointed even after they shipped me another one.
