295/65/18 Duratrac's on XD Diesel's with 5" backspacing and 0mm offset. Had to trim the corners of the plastic valance on both sides. About a 1" tall by 3" long strip was removed to stop the rubbing that was occurring in reverse at full lock. 5 minutes with a pair of snips.

Do you think they were rubbing because of the offset/back spacing?

I was looking at the 18x9 xd monsters 18offset/5.71 backing or the 35offset forgot the back spacing 6.31 I think. what do you think?

They'll work with the 275-70-18 duratracs as long as the offset is at least 20. I would think the 295s would work because they're only .8 wider but I don't know.

I was just looking at Goodyears website and the 275x70 18's were only approved for a 7-8.5 wide rim...the wheels I want are 18x9....Is it going to cause a problem?

I have 275-70-18 nittos on 18x9 fuels, no issues and they are the exact same measurement as the duratracs.
