Front end not level side to side after Bilstein install
#11
I just do it as a matter of practice. OP: Basically means putting a load on the suspension before tightening everything down. Lot of people will use a floor jack to crank the control arm up a bit to put load on the suspension before tightening the bolts, etc.
Like I said, it should normalize over the course of a few weeks as long as the spring is correctly placed on the perches, etc.

I did jack up the suspension before tightening everything down, so that should not be an issue.

Boost :)
Did I miss where you said it was aligned after the install? Sorry if I did. I've seen misaligned vehicles do some strange things so you might take it back to them and make sure everything is where it should be.

You are on level ground when you are measuring correct? Not trying to sound like an a-hole with that question. I have measured mine on what appeared to be somewhat level ground and it wasn't and my measurements weren't exact.

I have not had it aligned yet because until the springs settled, I thought it might throw off the alignment.
I have been measuring on a level concrete surface.
I found out that a coworker had his truck at work today (2010 F150 stock suspension), so I just measured and his was high on the passenger side by 5/16". It must be a Ford thing!

I am going to have the tires put on and alignment done tomorrow!
I will report my findings if anything changed with the alignment.

Thanks!
This pic is when I just had a 2" spacer, and before the new coil springs and Bilsteins.
I set the 5100's at the highest setting and the springs definitely make it sit higher than before. I definitely should not have any problem clearing 295/70/18's!
I will post before and after pics Friday or Saturday.
