Yes, a new steering rack. Also have the intercooler deflector plate on the way as my truck nearly shut down on the highway in the rain, what a joke that thing is, just blocks 1/3 of the intercooler...

Also have a squeaky sliding rear window, but it's temperature dependent.

So... you screwed up the rack installing your lift... and you expect Ford to pay for it?

You're just a regular Sherlock Holmes aren't ya? Only truck I've heard of that can't handle a leveling kit without bunging up a rack.

What gave? Why did it make it feel loose? Did the steering work when it was feeling loose?

The reason I ask, mine feels like that but only when I hit small bumps. You hear it, not feel it.

So what is the cure to this problem? Do I take my truck into the dealership and ask for a new rack and pinion steering or is something messed up electronically? I want to get this fixed this week. Please let me know!
