Default Franchi SCT SF3

Does anybody know what tunes come preloaded with the 3015 model from Franchi motorsports?

I know stage3motorsports lets you pick from performance, tow, and race

They just come with canned 87-89-91 octane tunes if I remember correctly.
Franchi will be able to answer more accurately tho.

So if you have an aftermarket exhaust and intake would you need custom tunes?

Says on the site you can input tire size and common mods.

Don't have one but been researching them.

For simple mods like Exhaust and CAI they don't change anything enough to make a big enough difference in power. They claim to but it's a bunch of BS.
Anything more for mods you may need custom tunes tho.

I got mine from franchi, a gift from my fiance, and it just had the canned tunes. She was told by them they can't do custom tunes (incorrect I'm sure). But unfortunately since she went that route, I forked out extra cash to buy custom tunes elsewhere after the purchase. Custom is the way to go, hands down.

BTW.... I've got the 5.0, 35's, just a muffler swap dumped, no mods in the performance category. Still a night and day difference with custom tunes.

Franchi Motorsports sells the tuners.... Any custom tune place will email you the tunes for it, if you wanted custom tunes.

That is where i got my tuner, hes the bestest .... I will probably get MPT for custom tunes though.

That's where I bought mine. I'm not sure what the current price is, but Amazon had them for $289 recently.

There is two types of tunes so you understand, preloaded and custom. Just about all the SCT models come with the three preloaded tunes on it written by SCT for your specific year and engine with an 87, 91 and 93 octane tune and can hold up to ten custom tunes as well.

If you go to www.sctflash.com, enter search by vehicle, input your trucks info, then pick a tuner, and click on Adjustable Options, it will list out everything that you can adjust specifically for your year/engine combo under the user adjustable options for any one of the three preloaded tunes on it ( like tire size, speed limiter, ect ect )
