Default excessive water in door

i really noticed it the other day when i gave my truck a good wash.

after i was done and finished drying the exterior with my blower i opened the passenger door and it seemed like cups of water ran out of the bottom of the door on the hinge side. i would call it a steady stream even. the other doors didn't seem affected. i expect some water drainage but this seemed like way too much.

it also looks like i'm starting to get paint bubbles where the sheet metal is folded over at the bottom, meaning to me that the door is rusting under the paint.

anyone else have this problem? any ideas on how to stop it. or is it normal and stop worrying about it?

make sure all drain holes under the door are free of debris and not plugged

wils91 - they are clear. that's where the water is coming from
The water is coming from you washing the vehicle. The water seeps past the side windows seals (normal) and drains down to the bottom of and out the doors. WAD (Working As Designed).

The fact that the water came-out the "hinge side" indicates that you were either on a slant -OR- possibly the rear/middle drain holes are plugged and/or blocked.
