Yeah. I had read warnings about the Chinese keys. Someone mentioned there were some keys on Amazon made by the OEM, I think it was Startech or something that were the ones to get. Just trying to make sure. Thanks for the response.

Go on ebay and buy the OBDLink Mx clone for $15-20. It works great. Those stupid little blue things are junk.

I wish somebody could figure out how to program keys on 2011+ trucks using Forscan. I only have one working key and want to program the two new keys from my remote start kit.

I have a feeling the developers of Forscan kept this out on purpose.
Can you imagine the havoc that would cause if a crime ring got a hold of it? Ford would jump to the #1 spot in vehicle thefts overnight!

True, but they offer the feature for older Ford vehicles. It shows that it can program keys on my 2008 F150.

Is this one of the keys that works?
I'm pretty sure you need to match the FCC ID of your OE key. Open up one of your keys and it will be located inside. Just search for that code and pick a key.
I bought these ones. They also have the Ford logo on them.

It took nearly a month to get them and the range is much less then my OE keys. They do the job fine though. I programmed RS in both mine and my dad's 2011's.

DID NOT WORK WITH MY 2010 F150

Well, it didn't work. I got this error:

After some messages with the seller I was told:

So now I shall skim this thread for successful purchases and pick up another.

I have never used amazon's return process before, so I guess I'll figure that out today!
You won't find anything to mess with in there on a 2010 F150 anyway. I have a working adapter and there is nothing in there you can make changes to. 2010 have no BCM, heck the Dealer IDS could not even find the HVAC module to reprogram. You need a 2011 and up for making any changes.
Save your money.

Yeah, 2010 down have a GEM, very limited functions that can be manipulated.
