Ford Tech Svc Bulletin 14-0014?
#21
I would say that you need to keep an eye out for the symptoms which this TSB is intended to address. Check your oil regularly and if you don't have any issues of raw fuel smell in oil or oil level rising in the crankcase then you are probably not affected.

Hey folks,
If you're concerned that a service bulletin may apply to your vehicle, give your dealerships a call so they can check; they'll be in the best position to determine if service is needed. If you have any questions or concerns, just let me know.

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but as far as I was concerned I thought they just had the typical block heater. That being said, if changed from the thermostat heater to a block heater what would be the advantages/disadvantages to the speed of which the interior would warm up? I thought a thermostat heater would circulate the glycol through the whole system allowing it to warm everything up better?
Edit: Maybe I could ask them to keep both and just plug in the two cords Would be nice for -30 and below for everything to be warmer
