Default HD payload package?

How does it ride? rougher than than the max tow package? I see that the HD package has heavier shocks and has higher capacity springs than the max tow and was wondering if the extra springs make it ride rough.

Thanks

I'm going to guess that the HD rides rougher than mine with Max Tow. I think even with 18" tires vs my 20, that the springs will ride much stiffer. You can always add weight to the rear bed (nothing that would fly up and hit you in the head on a front ender, like a brick or sandbag), rather a steel plate or waterbag, if the ride is too rough for you.

The F150s generally ride nicer than the GMs/Dodges in my opinion, maybe the HD will ride like their normals ones.

I just read on PickupTrucks.com. that the 2012's have a new HD payload pkg that will give the supercrew 6.5 box a 8200gvw.
