Issue: Ford Remote Access app review

The Ford Remote Access app is available for both IPhone and Android users to control vehicle features. The app lets you remote start, remote stop, lock, unlock, audible car find, and there is even an optional feature to receive security notifications.

Read to find out more:
  • What, if any, are the costs associated?
  • Do you have to go to the dealer?
  • What hardware is compatible?
  • How well does it work compared with aftermarket devices?
  • What models are compatible?

Hey all,

I am looking for just this part:

Which part no am I looking to get:

DA8Z-15603-A

or

DL3Z-15603-C

Both are described as an Antenna kit. It's for a system 200 bi directional. I do have the second antenna which attaches to the windshield fwiw.

I mistakenly left the part pictured in my old truck when I traded it in, totally forgot it was up above the glove box, fml. Now I need a new one to reactivate the system in the new truck(neither truck came with remote start from factory.)

Thanks,

Kevin

The RMU kit is here http://www.levittownfordsupercenter....da-p-2399.html

And if you do not already have a VSS it is available here http://www.levittownfordsupercenter....em-p-1882.html

We can activate it as well so no dealer visit is required.

For anyone who has ordered this from the states have you been charged duty on the delivery?

Also. I have a 14 platinum F150 with just the basic startup on the key. I'd need to add the Security and cellular service products. Is there anything else required?

I was charged duty. Give Benny a shout and he will let you know. After shipping and exchange rates and duty it was $560. They will help you activate it.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but they do not need to be connected for it to work.
