I'm not hostile. But if you got back many many pages many many months ago you were spreading same bad info that a lot of people had taken a lot of time to figure out and set straight.

That's great Ford discontinued the "old" kit. However, it's still available from many many places and it's cheaper. I'm sorry you can't sell it, but that doesn't mean it's not any good or people have to buy the "new" modules from you and spend more money. There is a better option out there despite your contrary view of it.

Buy DL3Z-19G364-A and done.

Exactly, install was a breeze and the security is a nice feature.

Bottom line: Yes they are still out there laying on dealer shelves, They may be more cost efficient Depending on the seller, Warranty and support is no longer available for them.

It's like installing XP on a brand new PC...

Default Remote starter app and 100 series starter

Hey Everyone,

I recently installed the 100 series remote starter. The antenna was installed on the passenger side as per the instructions. Now I have the RMU and the VSS that I need to install. From what I understand the RMU and the VSS needs to be installed on the drivers side. do I leave the 100 series alone?

One more thing, I live in Canada and was wondering who to call to get hooked up?

Thanks,

Dante1

XP wasn't so bad. How about Vista or better yet, Windows Millennium

Correct they get installed on the drivers side. You will have a obd2 harness to connect to the existing port. The activation part you will have to call who you ordered it from. Or worst case a dealer to get it activated.
