The Ford Remote Access app is available for both IPhone and Android users to control vehicle features. The app lets you remote start, remote stop, lock, unlock, audible car find, and there is even an optional feature to receive security notifications.

Read to find out more:
  • What, if any, are the costs associated?
  • Do you have to go to the dealer?
  • What hardware is compatible?
  • How well does it work compared with aftermarket devices?
  • What models are compatible?

I have a 2014 with the 402a package. What parts do I need for this? And is there a annual fee for it?

Thanks

Hi Guys,

Granted you both live in the U.S you will need the following parts:
http://www.levittownfordsupercenter....ss-p-2272.html
http://www.levittownfordsupercenter....em-p-1882.html

Both of these modules are plug and play and install within minutes.

If you currently have a factory remote start then no dealer visit or programming is required. If not this will need to be done at additional costs.

We activate the cellular kits free of charge if purchased from us, Just shoot me a private message when your ready to go.

The service has an annual charge of 50.00

Please let us know if you have any questions,
-Benny

Mine does - in Dallas - was 41 this morning per the truck and the seats and heater were both on when I got in after remote start. It is a '14 Lariat 502A. I'm not aware of anything other than going through the menu on the screen as you note you've done. I use the Auto because I want it to always come on if it is cold outside. This morning was perfect example - I had turned the Heat/AC off on the way home yesterday and rolled the window down - it was nice here. This morning, of course I want it warming up if it is cold and it did, but when I put the key in and turned it to on, the heater did what it should have done and shut back off, because that is the last setting when I was driving the truck, but it had been heating due to the Auto selection.
