Default Ford f150:cold weather tough

woke up this morning to a beautiful -20 degree day! MyTruck started with a little bit of a whine. initially the ride was stiff, and the shifting was delayed. after ten minutes, things were back to normal. When I got to the chevy dealer at which Im employed, I heard of several people with vehicles that wouldnt start, or had a low pressure light. when you look at all of the demands we put on these trucks, you have to appreciate how tough they are. I love my f150 and other than the rattle when I shut my door, this truck has had zero issues. just passed 6,000 miles.

Had a Truck/Trade show to work for a customer of mine this past weekend and woke up sat morning to leave for a 2.5 hr trip and it was -6. started just fine and like it was said earlier, took a little bit to warm up and run normal but then again so did I.

While we're on it, hats off to Ford and it's excellent cabin heating system. I've never had a Ford that didn't crank out some heat!

The first thing I'd get for a pickup in those weather conditions would be remote start, just so the bun warmers are on full cook by the time I get to the vehicle to drive off.
