Is the Ford extended service plan worth it?

ONCE UPON A TIME, if you had a previous FORD ESP, and you cancelled it, and within a short time, purchasing another one wasn't allowed.
Surely Ford realizes this happens with the advent of online sellers of FORD ESP....
However, I am not sure if this is still a practice or not....
Is the ESP you're cancelling a GENIUNE FORD ESP???

I made a spreadsheet to help monitor my miles in conjunction with the ESP miles/years I purchased.
With the 7 year / 60000 one, I can put about 8,671 miles per year and remain on track with time/miles.
That's approx. 714 miles per month.....
on track, end of month 2 I'll have about 1300 miles on the truck, and I'm allowed 1,428. so I'm in line with miles/time.
Of course, I am not refraining from driving the truck anywhere I please, but interesting to keep up with.
Of course, lets hope ECOBOOST issues don't make me trade it earlier!

You did not mention if the esp you purchased from your dealer was a GENIUNE FORD ESP..
What are the miles on your truck so far? Have you already had it 12 months from in-service date (assuming you bought it new).
Its best to purchase the FORD ESP within 12 months of your NEW purchase date. There is a $100 surcharge after 12 months.

I bought a 2013 f150 used from a local Audi dealer that was just too good to pass up. In the rush and exitement of getting a new truck I accepted the extended service plan through them. $2030 for 60/75000 with $100 deductible. It's been about 5 months now and I'm thinking about cancelling it and getting the Ford ESP "Premium Care" package. I haven't called my local dealer for a quote yet, but after reading on here I'm not sure i want to because they just try to rip you off. I also read on here about Flood Ford and Zeigler Ford and did a quick online quote, but it seems too good to be true. Anyone have experience with either of those dealers buying extended service plans? Also should I wait till my factory warranty is up to buy the extended one or does it not matter? Thanks in advance.

CANCEL IT!
you can already see the money you can save online with a GENUINE FORD ESP!
So you bought the truck used? How many miles?
Do you know when the ORIGINAL date of sale was on it?
OK, I just seen its a 2013, so there would be an extra $100 surcharge added on... But still cheaper than the one you orig purchased.

Sorry, I bought the truck back in February used at a local Audi dealer. I bought the aftermarket non-ford warranty through them. I would have to take it to audi when my factory warranty is up and who knows what brand parts the would use... which is why I want to cancel it and get a genuine ford esp.

Cancel it. Invest the money into the stock market. Much better return.

You can get the same warranty you orig purchased for about $940 as I figured with the same provisions.
