Default Anybody getting sick of cleaning the brake dust off the stock rims?

I was thinking of getting them powder coated to make them easy to clean? Any ideas?

Iron-X or Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner takes off baked on brake dust. Get it from Amazon. Watch videos of it working on Youtube. I'd post a YouTube video myself, but I just discovered that pole dancing is apparently some kind of a sport and I'm guy, so....

Put a good coat of Collinite 845 on those chrome wheels, and nothing will be able to stick to them. The brake and road dust comes off with a simple wash cloth....

Agreed. Then you'll have more time to scrub the raised white letters, if only someone had a preventative product for that.

Armor All Wheel protectant. Puts a film on that is phobic to basically everything.

Just change the pads. Call me crazy but I changed the pads on my 09 and my old 04 truck within the first 1000 miles. There was no way that I was going to deal with all that brake dust. Those OE pads were horrible for dust. Supposedly they upgraded the brakes in 2010 to include ceramic pads for less dust.

Or, a company called Kleen Wheels makes brake dust shields that mount inside your rims: http://www.kleenwheels.com/

50k + miles on my OE brakes and they still have plenty of life and I have no problem with dust at all. Wash the truck more or use the brakes less?
