Thought about stopping payment on card. However, thought that would agitate my problem with Ford. Don't want my name in paper shaming my family. Also don't need a civil suit for non payment. Hoping to hear from ford soon. I am still highly upset. Post as soon as hear something one way or another.

I exhausted my argument with the GM who stands behind their decision. $420.00 of erroneous charges. They still have it. Have to drive after repair and re-inspect. I don't know what to do now. I advised them word of mouth can be detrimental and I would be exercising that. Morrow Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Beaverfalls PA. So everyone on this site, hope you don't get the underside of your 4X4 dirty indirectly.

Ok. Figured out after five calls to Ford customer care center that its a filter and just refers your complaint back to the dealer of mention. Morrow Motors. Anyhow, last conversation today with the service was told that the service manager had attempts in trying to contact me. Nice try, no one ever attempted to call me. Tried to call to get the regional representative for Ford contact number no one knows or will provide that contact number. Even called my salesperson from Fairway Ford who didn't know how to contact him/her. Any help out there? Anyway, contacted BBB, awaiting package in mail. Have gotten nowhere. A retired engineer for Ford, Chuck Wise who has tried to guide me says I need to stay steady the coarse. We will see. I feel like its the good ol boy system and I'm not one of the good ol boys. This "filter" keeping me from going up the chain of command with my concern is frustrating to say the least. Sched my PA inspection/emissions placing appt since I already payed for it and have driven > than 100 miles since the transmission codes have been cleared. Will have to do all I can to hold my tongue while at the infamous Morrow Motors while I wait wed.

No one from any dealership is going to give you a Regional Reps number. The Ford Customer Care number is a joke, it's basicly a go between for you and the dealership to try and resolve your issue. Look in your owners manual in the Customer Assistance section, you might find something helpful in there. Worse comes to worse, you might have to write to Ford with a formal complaint. The address is in your Owners Manual. I tried calling all the numbers I had for the Regional Reps when I worked for Ford and their all non-working numbers now...imagine that.

i believe there is something called the magneson moss act , that states that they have to prove that the upgrade in question did in fact cause the problem with the tranny, sounds to me like they are raking you across the coals. I had an 06 chevy that they tried to pull the same **** on me with.I kept on chevys *** about it and finally got my way. I have been told that some dealers claim that there is no money in warranty work , so when they get you in there they will do anything to void the warranty and vacuum the cash right out of your pocket, which sounds like the case with you, good luck, sounds like you have a lousy dealership.

Took my truck to get my roughly $500.00 PA inspection/emissions stickers put on since I already payed. Took them 45min. All was already done. Just had to plug in to see the codes cleared. Horrible. Still waiting for someone to help me with Ford regional rep number or direct line to Ford corporate, Dearborn something!

So now we're not allowed to drive our trucks anywhere that might get mud on the under-side? Not through a dirt trail, construction zone, back yard, next to the fishing pond, nowhere?
I don't care if its caked in 6 inches of mud. They need to prove you did something outside normal wear-and-tear to break whatever is broken or cover it under warranty. Period.
You're either not making a big enough deal about this or only giving us part of the story. It's time to move from the GM to owner of the dealership.
