I'm into the HVAC business. I'm self employed for 28 years now and most of my business is making ductwork. Once I gain a customer they always come back. I only use prime metal. They always get an excellent finished product at a great price. I cherish my customers and I don't have to kiss the asses of any stockholders.

Big Muskie,

Be proud of your hard work and success. We need big business to look at people/companies like you/yours and learn from your ethics.

Take Care

I wonder sometimes why Ford is not handling these issues.

I had my truck in the shop after less than a week. It sat at the dealer for over 3 weeks. THEY called Ford over it and Ford ended up sending a representative from up north who finally fixed the problem in 2 hours. Ford customer service did give me a warranty covering brakes oil changes tire rotations wipers for 36k miles.

djfllmn,

Working for the dealership rather clouds your experience.

smunczen,

I don't know. Maybe, in fairness, they don't hear about most of them. They have given too much power to the dealers and to the useless customer service call centres.

Take Care

JCB4'sDad,

I'm glad that you got some satisfaction and amazed that you saw a Ford representative.

Losing the use of your truck for three weeks over a two hour job is shameful.

Take Care
