NOTE: Velcro (no matter how HD) will NOT do/last.
My solution .....
YES the F-150 mat insert is another of my fabrications.

My solution .....
- FoMoCo part # 1W6Z-76130A83-AA - mat retainer. *Need 2.
- bottom tang removed and 3M double-sided attachment tape applied to the now leveled bottom.
- mounting bracket(s) made/fashioned/fabricated from a sheet of thin aluminum.
- hole drilled in one end so that it can be secured by inserting it between the seat mount and the floor via the seat bolt.
- bent/contoured to conform to the floor.
