While there are still a few opens, your numbers indicate a very short trailer, only around 7.5' from ball coupling to midpoint of axle system. What kind of trailer do you have?

It's a 6x10 single axle enclosed with 2 motorcycles in it. Total weight of the trailer is just under 3000 pounds if I remember right. I got the WDH because I'm over the recomended tongue weight of my hitch by 100# and I wanted to stop the back from diving. I put as much weight as I could behind the axle but on a single axle trailer it's tough because it's so far back to begin with. The bikes are as far back as they can go. The tongue weight empty was just over 200!

MXD, now this makes sense. I thought it was a TT, your enclosed trailer is much shorter, right? That will transfer a lot more to the trailer.
Knowing that, your numbers most likely make perfect sense. Do you know (or could you measure) the distance from the ball coupler of the trailer to the axle? My guess is that's around 8 ft or so?

You can also play around with that spreadsheet I linked to a couple posts ago - that should clear up things!
