Default Magnaflow 16518 vs Dynomax 39486?

I'm tempted to swap out my exhaust and and trying to decide between Magnaflow vs Dynomax. The Magnaflow is $160 more than the Dynomax. The only thing I can't find online is if the Dynomax is made of similar stainless as everything here is prone to rusting in the winter. I'm pretty sure the Dynomax is also mandrel bent but it doesn't really say, it does look like it is though.

I'm biased towards the Magnaflow kit, just wondering if the Dynomax would be worth the cost savings or if it won't sound as good or will rust out quicker.

I get the impression the sound will be pretty similar.

Go magnaflow all the way but no need to replace the entire system, our trucks already have stainless pipes...just replace the muffler and delete the resonator.

Hey dac, since you do live in an area with harsh winters, we would recommend any exhaust you go with to be fully stainless, as this will resist rusting and corrosion much better than other materials. We also cover all of our stainless products with a limited-lifetime warranty. If we can answer any questions for you about the 16518 system, please send us a PM!
