Default Finally Ready To Get Some Mod's Going!!

In just over a week I got the my 5.0 Scab XLT booked for a few Mod's, I'm pretty excited I've been reading so much stuff on this forum about anything from exhausts ,intakes, tires and rims to tints and new badges and FINALLY I have enough saved up to do a few things .

I got in a K&N 63 series air intake system, I have no problem installing this myself (I've done it on my last 2 vehicles) however for a small fee my dealer said they will install it for me, which could help down the road if any warranty issues pop up, better safe then sorry I guess.

I also have it booked in to have the front driver and passenger side windows tinted to match the back windows, I've been looking forward to this most of all, I missed tinted windows so much!

I have a tri-fold vinyl bed cover on order, my dealer cut me a pretty good deal on this, looking forward to being able to store stuff in the bed and keep it dry, and secure .

One thing I'm contemplating doing too is putting a couple new badges on the doors. Found them on ebay for about $20, they are around the same size as the ecoboost badge however they are black and blue and say 5.0L Coyote in silver writing. Thinking of taking the flex fuel badge off the tail gate and firing these on the doors about where the ecoboost badges would sit. What does everyone think??

Get a tune from any of the vendors on here, it will be the biggest bang for the buck. I think there are some proven gains for intakes for the 5.0 so you should see a difference and it will be loud as well. As far as your mods I think the tint is always a good idea on matching the front to the rear (usually %20). The badges are kind of cool just not my flavor, its your truck so by all means do what you like. What color is your truck, post some pics!
