Finally I picked up a pair of oem Puddle Lamps, and retrofit them with 31mm 6-chip Samsung Led festoons!

Instead of running the wires from the puddle lamps into the CabSide of the Mirror Wire Harness... I ran the Negative to the rear facing Blinkers! Then I ran the + wire into the miiror side of the Connector(to the Purple Wire on cab side of harness), and hot glued it into place! I also, took out the Reflector as you can see in my 2nd pic to make more room for the led festoon!

I was really surprised with how EZ this mod was(other than waiting 28 hrs for the RTV to Dry), and the Amount of Light these small Leds put out...

I used Clear RTV, to keep them looking clean. As well as, I left them Clamped together for a total of 28 hrs to let the RTV fully cure. I even put a dab of RTV on the interior side of the puddle access hole to keep out Unwanted Moisture...

Don't know why anyone would spend close to $100 for someone else to do this Very EZ mod. for them!!!

Heres a few pics...

Looks really good! I'm looking to do something like this as well. It's the only light I haven't made into an LED. Lol

Thanks Robert, I've been wanting to do them Forever! Just couldn't justify a pair from any Ford dealer on ebay was around $55 shipped, for about $2 worth of Plastic!!!

So, I waited till a reasonably price pair became available! Glad I waited, and very Happy with my results...
