They are such a low draw, that would be the same as hooking up a pair of D2's. Very low wattage on these pieces means no electrical system strain

My Rigid Dually Spots showed up in the mail on Friday so I got them installed last night (finished just before the snow hit so I got lucky). I mounted them on either side of the middle license plate bracket and then spliced some extra wire onto the harness and ran them into the cab through the grommet. I really wish Rigid made the harness longer, or came out with a wireless switch!

I drilled two holes under the dimmer switch and that is where I put the two switches (one for the Floods, one for the Spots). It's a really nice place to put the switches as they almost look like they're meant to be there as opposed to under the steering column (where I originally had the switches mounted).

Part way through the job my soldering tool piled up so I had to just shrink tube the splices. I hope they'll be fine. I will need to purchases some 1/2'' poly loom to wrap up all of the wires running into the cab but for now the set up is fine.

Once I had everything wrapped up and tucked away I turned everything on and am pleased with the set up. The two Floods mounted higher up and the two Spots mounted lower work together well and looks badass! The only way I can improve upon this setup would be to buy a Smittybilt/N-Fab Light Bar to mount all four Dually's on.

The only **** off was when I went to hook the wire for the Spots up to the switch. I forgot to mark the negative!

Burnt through three fuses trying to figure out which was which but I got it eventually.

In all my years of wiring, that's happened a few times. It only seems to happen when it's a tight, PITA spot to contort my self into.

It happens to the best of us.

If you switch the spots and floods out, you will probably get more light down the road. The higher the spot lights are. The further they shine. But it's up to you. Either way, you got the best off road lights on the market. Welcome to the club.

Interesting! I'll probably switch the lights around one of these evenings when I get off work early and see what the difference is like. I was really impressed with the Spots on the drive home tonight and am contemplating selling my Floods and buy another set of Spots.

And thanks, but I've been in the club for a while. I bought my Dually Floods in August 2012 and had them mounted on my old truck, and then carried them over to my new truck. I just recently purchased the Spots.

How are you guys mounting multiple lights on your truck? Are you guys putting another terminal on your battery post for every light? LOL
