I think people are just using the brackets that come with it and mounting it on the two black tabs with predrilled holes

What he said ^^
That's how I've seen it done and would do it myself.

You MAY need to trim the plate bracket and other filler for it to fit.

Here's what I found some time ago. These aren't mine but that's what you were looking for.

Ok guys, time for you to give some input. I'm looking at installing some lights. Where would you guys start? No more than $500, no 20" in the lower grill.

I measured and there is enough space behind the lower grill for some D2's but not sure if that's what I want to do.

Just start spewing out ideas because I really don't know what I want.....

Read some of this thread. There's dozens of ideas - make your own choice on what YOU want.

What I "spew" may be a terrible idea to you when I think its great.

$500 won't go further than a pair of D2s tho... Two pairs will be over $500 and any bar over 10" will also be >$500 so... You're pretty much stuck with one option.

What color do you want? What do you plan on doing with them? Do you want them for fog, rain, just night driving and dry conditions, do you want them to serve any function other than looks?

There's too many questions to give you a broad answer. Just look through the pages of this thread inform your own idea, there's no better answer than that.

But since I know you won't simply do that, my answer would be to add them to the lower grille hole. D2s in amber with driving optic - piece of cake.

I've spent the last 2 hrs running through the thread and am no closer. If I still had my '12 with the six bar it would have been easy. Two sets of duallys on the sides of the grill. But with the C-clamp it's a little more complicated.

There's not much here for the C-clamps that's why I'm looking for input on how I might install them.

I can get 2 pairs of duallys from TAP for about $500, or a SR 20 for about $400 and a SR 30 for about $600. Or 2 10" E bars for $600.

I want white lights. No need for amber where I live. Looking for a combo of "cool" and practical. Long drives through wooded windy back roads, plenty of open highway driving, and regular camping and off road use.

Maybe D2's in the fogs but I'm not sure that's what I want to lose the fogs. Rather have them I. Addition to the fogs. Idk.

Like I said I don't really know what I want, but when I see it, I'll know.

Default 20" Light bar

Installed a 20 incher on my bull bar. I really like the look of it and the performance is amazing.

I would do a single 30 in the top grille at the bottom, SR series.

That's a **** load of light. I have 1 30" SR and it outshines my high beams (I have HIDs also) so much so that you can't tell they're on. An E series would *almost* be overkill.

But if you don't want a 30, I don't think there's any good way to mount anything smaller behind the grill. Unless its D2s.

Behind the grill there is only those two arms to mount anything to, having said that you COULD do a 20" E in the lower grille (but you said you don't want that)

Unless you can figure out how to mount something smaller than a 30 behind the grille that isnt a D-series idk what other options there are.

My brother has the same grille you do, and all that we spent three and a half hours trying to figure out any possible way to mount something other than a 30 inch and between three of us we couldn't figure out anything that would work for permanent use. (We install these things for a living, along with emergency vehicle lighting, there's just not a reliable way for a 20 to mount back there unless its not attached to the grille)

If you can mount it to the radiator frame then maybe, I just don't know how.

SR 30 does seem like the most viable option. Didn't want to spend a ton on this....

Against the 20 in the lower because 1) it's an EcoBoost (just in case) 2) seems too low, not sure the light would cast as far as I would like if it is being blocked my stumps and the like
