Got beat by a Ram last night, from a 30 roll (bottom of 2nd for me) and from a dig! What gives? I really didn't expect it but I also don't follow up on Rams as I think their garbage. He pulled me 1 length from a dig and 1.5 from a roll. Seems like every time mine shifted he got more distance.

My truck 12 5.0 crew fx4 3.73 100% stock
Ram was a 12+ crew not sure on gear or 4x4 (no decal). Said he was all stock.

You = 360 hp / 380 tq
Him = 390 hp / 407 tq

A 91 tune will get you output levels pretty close to those.

That makes sense then. I also think it would help a lot if it didn't shift like a turtle. Do those trucks have the 8sp auto?

They did go 8 speed, not sure what year. A tune will also firm up and quicken your tranny.

That is correct... The guy asked if it was an EB, said he beat a stock one worse than mine. He's drives a Ram so he's probably full of it. Let's not turn this into a bashing thread alright.
