Default As far as I know, I am the first with these emblems

I added 5.0 emblems to the side of my truck. I was on the fence about this, as I did not want to "over badge"

But I just had to.

On the 11th of this month, I saw that the 2015 Mustang parts catalog was available. I looked up the new emblems...the 5.0 struck my eye as being a new design...so, I looked, and sure enough, there where a total of FOUR of these available across the entire USA...

So I ordered a couple. They came up as "not available until the 22nd"

First, here is the 2011-2014 style

Well, finally they where available, ordered, and today, they arrived

As you can see, these have locating pins, which you must remove

I Think they're great, it's a nice redesign over the previous emblem. I am not sure that I am crazy about where I placed them, thought about under the F150 emblem on the fender, and it didn't look too bad, but seemed overdone in that location...

Its a very nice decal but the placement has got my OCD on overload. I feel it should be the same distance from lower "ridge" as it is from the front door seam. I would be down for a couple of those if I were to find them.

FL5OVE ... I feel it should be the same distance from lower "ridge" as it is from the front door seam.
+1

What you're describing is the same placement that the Raptors have for their 6.2L door emblems.

And where I installed ...

And replaced that with ...

Haha, it messes with my OCD too. But as long as they are even side to side, that's the biggest thing for me.

I feel like the "EcoBoost" or the 6.2L emblem spot would be my preference.

Ha, that looks cool, I like that... and I'm not an aftermarket emblem/decal guy.

The thing that triggers my OCD about them is that the font is way different that the font on the F150 emblems so they clash with each other.
But as long as the OP is happy with them that's all that matters.

Mmmm agreed, the 5.0L chrome emblem doesn't go with the F-150...size, font, it's a hodge-podge of uniformity...that would make me have OCD.
The 5.0L vinyl graphic in silver or red as shown above "flows" better with the F-150 emblem... just my $0.02
