Falken Wild Peak ATW3 vs BFG KO2

There's a reason the BFG AT's design has been around since the 70's....because it actually works. Sure, there are horror stories on every tire...but with as many BFG's that are sold, there are bound to be a few more (because they sell more) I've had BFG AT's on old trucks, and have them on my wheeler now....never had an issue with them...they lasted a long time and performed very well in snow (I live in UT with a good amount of annual snowfall)
I have nothing against the Falken's....I had a set on a truck (not the new design, but an older one) and had no complaints about them....but I think the hate for BFG is wildly unjustified.

Lots of guys buy them and like them. But that doesn't mean they wouldn't love other tires more.
BFG sells them on their name alone. I've run 3 sets of them myself but I wouldn't take another set of KOs if you gave them to me for free. Technology has advanced way beyond what BFG offers today. And it's funny, because their parent company Michelin has a slogan that says "there's so much riding on your tires". Which is exactly why you shouldn't pay the big $$$ for BFGoodrich, lol.
But at the end of the day, every guy spends his own money how he wishes. And that's what makes America great.

I am currently getting 275/65/20 Falken AT3W's installed on my truck as I type this on my phone. Off the rim, it looks like I made a great choice and I will be happy that I didn't try to stuff a 35" in there like I have done in the past. These tires look awesome! I do wish these were made in a 295/60/20 but I like the way these look more aggressive than only a 275 wide tire.

These look fantastic and were exactly what I was hoping for (looks wise). Yes, they are a little narrow but they look very aggressive and fill up the wheel wells just enough. No rubbing, no trimming and I can't tell if any noise at all but my Borla exhaust and CAI could be masking any minimal noise that there is. The truck drives more like a truck now. It's hard to explain but it feels more sturdy. It could be just from the added weight, ~20lbs each over stock. I have only driven about 5 miles so any other factor is too early for me to tell. I think you can tell the extra weight is there but I haven't really tried to find out yet. Overall, LOVE them.
First 2 pics are stock Pirellis.

I'm curious since the BFGs have been the best tire I've owned, but I would like to see actual data. I'm due for new tires before the snow starts falling and would be willing to buy differently if there was data to back up your claim.

My vote would be the ko2's too.
While they may only look like they've had a few "tweaks" from the Ko's that is not the case.
Mine have been great in all kinds of snow and other harsh conditions. They're also 3 peak mountain snow flake rated.
I've ran all kinds of different tires throughout my 30+ years of owning trucks and have been very pleased with my ko2's.
I will admit though I've never ran the Falkens
