Default 19000 miles and counting

Don't really care about POI's, havent used them once, current gas stations would be nice, but not worth 200$ and I have yet to get lost from going point A to B. Software updates like a better Pandora interface, or the ability to use AppLink for that matter, a better Sync interface...faster reaction times...now that would be nice.

Mine is ordered but I thought they were to just start shipping this week? If that is the case, then no one has it just yet to comment on them...........

Is there an update for 2011s?

I thought the dealer purchased the disk and the license gave them opportunity to update customer vehicles, no?

If so, people, we should pool our resources and form a Navi update club.

Throw money at schrod and he mails the disk around until everybody is updated.

The 2012 update is for the map update for 2012. Not 2012 trucks. Works on 2009-2012 trucks.

The discs are nav specific. You have to give your Application # from your nav's system info screen so you can't pass around the discs.

I got the offer a couple of weeks ago. The special was free shipping for paying full price. Whoopie. What sucks is I have v2.0x even though my truck was made 10/10 and 3.1x was out 7/10.

On a side note, I was using my Garmin while confirming my speedo with my new Edge and I forgot how grerat Garmin nav's are. I still like the Sony Nav since I don't have to stick it to the windshield.

Eric, I am afraid that Bobbyc is right. I remember having to put my app. # on the order. I don't know if all app. # for a model year are the same or not. We could compare them on here and see.

some programer could easily hack them allowing it to be used in every vehicle or include a program to change the app number and reburn the disks, all the older versions are cracked and up on torrent sites, Ive not yet seen this new version on there. I also got a letter offering me the "deal" of the upgrade for 199$, but its the same price on their website every day, some deal, lol! No way Im paying that much for it, I rarely ever even use the nav, but I use all the other features of the system a lot.
