Default Need Tire Help/ Opinions

Hey guys, I realize that tire threads get old, but I'm needing direction. I have an '09 Lariat Screw 4x4, and just picked up a set of 20x9 Moto Metal 951's (+18mm offset). I've got the HBS 2" leveling kit sitting on my workbench, so it'll go on at the same time. My question is....what size tires? I've been looking at the Cooper Zeon LTZ's, but I don't know if I should go with 275/60/20 or 305/50/20. Of course, there's always Terra Grapplers too.....

Checkout my threads. Posted one yesterday. Put 275/65/20 terra grapplers and a 2" level kit. Pictures included on the thread. Love the setup and the ride. I didn't want wider tires. Just something taller. I searched for about a month and settled with the terra grapplers. The coopers may wear slightly better from other reviews I have read though

Thanks, ttown; great writeup. I assume you're in Tulsa, based on your screen name..... I'm over in Edmond. What did you do as far as the brake upgrade? How many miles did you roll those stock Pirellis?

Yes I am in Tulsa. I put 38k miles on the pirellis. They were done after 30k, but I took too long doing research on what I wanted. I switched out the factory pads and rotors and installed some heavy duty ceramic pads. They are much smoother, 20% more stopping power, and little dust compared to factory. Any ideas on what size and type of tire you are looking at?

I'll probably go with the 275/60/20 Cooper LTZs.

Here's what the 305/50/20 look like. The ride is pretty rough and gas mileage is down. I'm contemplating going to a 275/60/20 AT or AS.

OP - I would go with the 275/60 R20 w/ your 2" leveling kit.
