Hey ecoboostXLT

I have a f150 2010 w keyless entry. The GM dealer I bought it from can't seem to give me the old code. Is there a way to find the factory code without having to take it to a dealer so they can charge me for it? or does anyone else know? Thanks

Default Help

I am looking to activate the keypad and am confused on what to do inside IDS. What option do you pick to start this procedure? Can someone give a brief breakdown of the steps? Thanks.

I guess I will find out this week if all goes to plan.
I'm in the same situation on my 2011 xlt reg cab, just installed my keypad today, gonna take it to the dealer later this week and see if they will hook me up.

Should be the same instructions as the Ford stick on one. When you bought the keypad did it come with a code? If so I can dig up the instructions

No, the keypad I bought come off another truck...its the whole assembly. There are two stickers on the back of my bcm on my 2011, neither one of them look like that or have a 5 digit number. There is a sticker on the front of the bcm that has a bar code up top and a big 5 digit number under it. Hopefully the dealer will be cooperative and work with me on making it work with the ids.

Well the dealer here doesn't want to be helpful, so I just ordered the ford IDS VCM so I could do this and a few other things myself. It's a shame you can't even pay people to do anything anymore.

Wow what is the IDS setting you back? The only ones I see are in the 300 range unless you get the mini which doesnt cover al of 2011 models. The ones for the 2013 models are 1200-1500
