In regards to installing and programming the truck to accept the keypad, mine is now installed and operational.

The parts department ordered the part from the stock number I gave them, except they changed the AA at the end to AB, and lo and behold, a black handle came in instead of the chrome one I gave them the number for.

Then, when I went to the service manager to make the appointment for the programming, he looked at the papers from here and then looked at me like I had just walked out of a spaceship in the parking lot.

Eventually I convinced him it was not impossible, then he had to give a tech my sales pitch (how also gave me the spaceman stare....)....

An hour later, (due to the claim that every line leading up to line 15 had to be re-entered...?) for the sum of $75 and tax my keypad was operational.

I think somebody got it right on this thread, these service managers are specialists in telling you what is not possible. The technology has gotten beyond them and they are still stuck in old school mode. The techs I think get trained (?) on the capabilities more than the ones that write up the service orders.

And if the service writer has just the right attitude.....well it just ain't gonna happen.

If you want to send me your email in a pm , I can send you the pdf file I edited the file to include the lines that need to be changed for auto lights and door keypad. I have still got find a keypad, but I had the dealership turn it on without them knowing when they did my auto lights.

Let me start off by saying I did not create the following slides I only edited the information at hand to accommodate the following information to include the auto headlights and door handle. I did leave off the door handle wording just incase if you do not have it yet. The dealer will still turn it on not knowing they did, if you know what I mean. The member with the thread that OP so kindly put on page 1 and also astrand1 gets the positive credit.

Default Who Made Who.

Just to clarify where the instructions cam from. ECOBOOSTXLT found the code to add the door handles. Reaper02 took Screenshot and explained the process to me aka Vladius71 my other persona in this forum. I put it together in a instructional format and published the document in PowerPoint. I still have those slides and you can email me at vladius71@yahoo.com and I will send them to you. Thanks.

I feel stupid. After months of following this thread I finally took my door panels off to install my PTM door handles and forgot to check for the harness.

Default 2014 STX 5.0 4x4 SCREW

I just wanted to confirm that you did this on the same truck I have (2014 STX SCREW 4x4). I have an appointment at my local dealer after another dealer in the area tried (before I found this thread with the Data Build Code info reprogramming)

Dealer 1. (Crater Lake Ford in Medford, Oregon) looked through the BCM and gave up when they couldn't pull the code (they didn't know about reprogramming Block 15 BCM 726-15-01 0000 0101 45 (no keypad)
BCM 726-15-01 0001 0101 46 (with keypad) )

So I am going to take it to my closest dealer now with the printed Power Point instructions. My question is did your dealer use the same numbers - BCM 726-15-01 0000 0101 45 (no keypad) BCM 726-15-01 0001 0101 46 (with keypad) - as everyone else here on the 11-12 F150's are using?

I dont understand why service techs have issues doing this. Theyre only changing 1 number in Block 15, in the As Built Data.

I'm not sure why either. Many people are afraid of the boogey man if they act outside of the box.
