In CENTEX there is Automax Ford. That's where I had my 11 SCREW XLT done. Have them program the door panel first before doing anything else or what will happen the programing will factory reset the truck and the other features will be turned back off again. It happened to me. Door handle first, then the other mods which should be just check boxes in the IDS. (They will tell you that it could brick your computer which is BS. The computer will simply not take the value and make you put in another value preventing it from being bricked.)

If I get all this reprogramming done and then have to take my truck in for service later on down the road and lets just say for instance the dealer decides it needs to be re-flashed, will it wipe out all these extras I have had them reprogram?

Yes, however is don't see any reason for them to re-flash unless your trying to add additional mods not programmed at the factory. Techs don't like flashing unless they really have to. This is the reason it's hard to find a dealer to do it in the first place.

Hey guys, I installed oem camera and sensors in a 2011 xlt and I need how to get the cluster to recognize this.

Would I simply give the dealer a Vin number with factory camera and sensors and use the as built data and apply it to my truck. I'm trying to be prepared because I figure the dealer will be more clueless than me on the subject.

I know this is not about the key pad but I was hoping you guys who were ids gurus would chime in. Thanks in advance

Default oem camera

The problem with that idea is the sample trucks build data may be significantly different than your own in features you may not know. If you can isolate the lines from the build data that are specifically for the oem camera you would have better luck. It may be a easy to add feature as well. Did you talk to your local dealer on installing a oem camera?

No I've not talked to them yet, I figured I could try to find an identical truck to mine beside obviously the camera and sensors and flash that trucks as built data to mine.

I have no way how to figure out the lines for the camera and sensors. Thank you for your input, it gives me some more ideas atleast. As a very last option I can buy a cluster from a lariat that already has the build data that I need.
