Default Factory Keypad installed and working

So after numerous google searches and post's read, and no help from Tech Hotline. You can install factory keyless entry and program it, you will
need an IDS, or firend at a dealer to program it. For those of you with remote keyless entry and no door pad your BCM as built for block 15 looks like this : BCM 726-15-01 0000 0101 45. For those with keypads the block is this BCM 726-15-01 0001 0101 46. That is all that needs to be changed. It is the same on super duty's as well. Should work on 11 and 12's. Enjoy!

So you are saying that block 15 needs to be changed in the software? I have a 2010 and would like to do this, any idea if it is the same block or where I would find this information?

As long as you have a sjb/bcm and not a gem. I do not know the sequence for a GEM. The 09 is still a GEM Module not BCM

2009-2010 have GEM Modules, they are located under the passenger side kick panels

Well, that sucks for 2009-2010 owners. I wonder if there is a similar setting in the GEM. This may warrant a call to the dealer, hopefully someone there wil lbe willing to experiment.

I installed painted handles on my new 12' XLT with the keyless pad. Tried to have the dealer make it work and they said it was not possible..... I guess I will have to go another route. They are experts on what is not possible. I wish they knew a little more about my truck......

I work at a dealer in the serivce department. They just don't want to take the time to manually input the as built data. Its not hard. It's only 1 parameter. Mine is working great, no problems. Just find a dealer who is willing to help.
