Put my rear BOSS shocks on this afternoon. Easy and painless in the nice 70 degree weather we're having for a change.

After installing them, made a run down a stretch of roads and US highway that I run nearly every day. The highway is under construction, so it's got some sections that have historically caused the "chatterbox" in back, especially a nasty little section of asphalt washboard. Noticeable difference in the way the truck handles those sections now. I would say smoother and more controlled and zero chatter, which I had grown accustomed to. Keep in mind, it's still a solid axle, leaf spring setup back there, so the big stuff is still gonna react as such; however, the attack of impact does seem to be a bit less jarring.

Nice job F150Lifts, as with the front end, a significant improvement. Now I guess I'll need to get some bigger tires, install blocks and raise the fronts to 3" in order to take advantage of all that extra travel these have!

Thanks again Alex!

Curious. Might seem like a dumb question to some but does it matter which way we install the rear Boss shocks? Boot up or boot down....?

Any idea if there is any advantage to having it one way or the other?

I did some research into this, and apparently some shocks (some bilsteins for example) are supposed to go in upside down because of the gravity feeding of the oil into the valving. some do not matter. on the other side, top up shows the boots
