^ Those aren't the new Powerscope tow mirrors that power fold.

The picture the OP put up is the new 2013 Powerscope tow mirrors.

From Ford:
"Side mirrors - PowerScope® Power telescoping trailer tow with power glass, heat feature, memory, turn signals, clearance lights and chrome skull caps (body color caps included when ordered with the FX Luxury Package)"

"Available PowerScope® telescoping and power-folding trailer tow sideview mirrors with power glass: They telescope and fold in for maneuvering in tight spaces. Heated glass, turn signals, clearance lights and memory feature are also included"

Item #: DL3Z17682AA & DL3Z17683AA

Ya, I looked on tasca parts last night, $683 a piece for the 2013 powerfold tow mirrors. Damn I wish I could even begin to afford that. Hopefully an aftermarket company will come out with a much more price competitive kit.

Cool

I just bought a set from a member here on the boards a few weeks ago. Great deal at under 1,100 for the set. The tag on these are DL3J-17682-DC5SM3, 07/10/12 is the man. date. Once I get the rest of the parts and once I'm clear on the wiring I'll be doing the swap. If your truck currently has mirrors with the power fold feature then the truck is wired for that, and your current switch will work for operating and folding the mirrors. You still will need to get the switch for extending the mirrors (17B676B), and the bezel (14527B) that the switches mount into on the door panel. I'm sure that a hole will need to be cut into the door panel for the bezel and switches. I'm also unclear at this point weather I will need to get a '13 door wiring harness ((14631A) for the drivers side or if there is a pigtail. And, that doesn't count the wiring in the passenger door. During my searches on doing this I've also read a few posts about needing to run additional wires to the passenger side for operating the extend feature. At this point it may not be until the spring before I'm able to do it. But I'll be taking pics and I'll be posting up what I did.

Useful info thanks.
All I want is an OEM set of 13 max tow mirrors.
Power adjustments
Memory
Power folding
Puddle lamps
Signals and marker lights
And the telescoping can be manual, but if it can be made power for not a huge hassle then fine.
I get this is an expensive mod, but I know what's too much. I went to the dealer today and they just mumble and say yes but this but that harness this no power fold that blah blah blah. And of course a crazy price. Like I said earlier I have trouble believing this cannot be done.

That is precisely what I want Wolf. Power Fold/Manual Extend. I doubt I will ever need the extend, but I want the tow mirrors for visibility around my camper shell. And it would be nice to fold them in with power when parking in downtown Atlanta parking garages.

Definitely going to stay tuned for this. These are going to be a Christmas present to myself and would like all the features to work, if possible.
