yesterday had my buddy in my truck going onto the on ramp on the interstate. I had not gotten into it yet but told my buddy to watch this.....dude that truck put me in my seat and i hit 90 with a quick. just wanted to express my joy for the truck

I am curious over here in 5.4 land.........what does the EB REALLY sound like at full throttle? Does the "grind" of most V6's predominate or do the turbos spool up and somewhat mask that? I love the sound of a supercharger or turbo spooling up, but have not fallen in love yet with the sound of anything less than 8 cylinders.....

The 5.4 will always sound better than the 3.5 ecoboost IMHO. The ecoboost sounds more like a turbo diesel than anything else.

I agree, to me the EB sounds a lot like the 6 cyl Cummins under hard acceleration.

Not as raspy as a cummins IMO. Reminds me of a Buick grand national at WOT.

the exhaust just sounds like exhaust to me. doesn't sound bad whatsoever, but when you see a beast moving that quickly you just EXPECT a big sound coming from it. not bad, but far from good in my opinion.

I hear the turbos kick in and pedal to the metal doesn't sound like anyother 6 cyc struggling. I love it makes me feel like I have the diesel I never got but honestly to each is there own everyone has there different opinion
