The "best" is really personal taste. I just installed my American Racing long tube headers with the catted y pipe today. I also have a Solo Mach X catback exhaust as well. Have it paired with SCT X4 and 5 star custom tunes and this moves pretty good. Sounds like a drag car when accelerating especially when downtown. Echos off the buildings. Took 2 weeks for the headers to be delivered as they are built to order and takes about a week to make. Not cheap, but worth it I think. Install is PITA which is to be expected. Took me 11 hours and had to make 2 tool runs. Would recommend using new oem studs and nuts as well as gaskets instead of using the supplied gaskets and header bolts. I just don't trust anything but oem hardware/gaskets. More of a pain with studs, but feel they won't back out like bolts tend to do.

The mod is perfect for guys wanting a loud acceleration but a quite idle and cruise. These babies roar on take off but you can cruise down the highway with a nice, low rumble and still listen to the wind or the radio. I'm pleased with my AR's; they make my truck stand out in a crowd.

Its pretty loud on accel, but when cruising down interstate, the drone is not any worse than before. Depends on what muffler your running to though. With the solo mach x it was loud before and had slight drone while cruising. I would strongly recommend getting the catted option to cut down on some of the rasp.

The "best" exhaust is the one that fits your budget and sounds great to your ears.

We prefer to use Corsa performance cat back exhaust systems for many reasons. Corsa spends a great deal of time developing/testing each system and design them specific to each vehicle, right down to the muffler. This is to ensure a great quality sound and that each system is drone free.

We prefer Kooks, American Racing , and Stainless Works headers depending on the customer's preference. All 3 companies offer high quality US made stainless steel headers that fit and sound amazing!

We would also recommend a custom performance tune to go along with the header back exhaust system to ensure the vehicle performs properly. This will ensure optimal performance gains are had from the new exhaust and also that the vehicle performs properly with the increased exhaust flow.

Feel free to give us a call , pm, or Email if interested in getting a quote. We offer all of the most popular exhaust products on the market and are competitive on pricing as well.

We do indeed offer a military discount that varies from product to product. What type of custom work are you referring to?
